Barn-dle of Joy- Our Very Own NVPS Lit Room

Our pupils entered the Barn-dle of Joy room for the first time. This is a new room created this year for our P3 and P4 pupils embarking in the Literature programme. The kids were all ''ooohss...'' and ''aaahhhhs'' when they entered the room. The brightly decorated room attracted the pupils' attention.

Pupils were very excited to perform their chocolate rap in the room.
A couple of groups performed well as they used the 1hr to prepare very effectively. A few groups had some members who were very enthusiastic about the performance while the others members seemed a little disinterested and lost. There were aso groups who did not use the time given to them effectively and thus were unable to perform properly in front of the class.

Watch their performance caught on camera.

Grp 1: Tommy, Zheng Han, Mizan, Cherry

Grp 2: Rui Sheng, Jia Wei, Urlwin, Shyan, Izyan

Grp 3: Maxine, Shi Bei, Shao Min

Shi Bei and Maxine were really good with the actions here

Grp 4: Timothy, Amaranath, Edwin, Joanna

Watch Amaranath taking the centrestage. He sure outshined in his group.

Grp 5: Jiaxin, Yan Ning, Bryan, Jia Qi, Derrick

Grp 6: Chelsea, Cherin, Xin Xi, William

The best performing group. Actions were 1st class.

Grp 7: Munira, Min Xuan, Xin Mei, John

Grp 8: Clarice, Thufailah, Nicholas, Elson, Jiang Yi

After the performances, pupils realised the importance of cooperating when they need to put up a performance. Many groups asked their videos to be re- captured after watching their friends' performances but time was short. Lets hope that the groups put in their best for their next performance.

Yes i agree with Thufailah, thanks for the constructive feedback...
It definely shows when some members put in more effort than others. Group members need to communicate and work together to come up with a gd piece. I hope all of you learned that after watching yourselves perform

Hi Maxine, have changed it. Thanks for highlighting it.

Dear pupils, i do hope you would give some constructive feedback like what Thufailah did... I'm sure your friends would want to know what you think of their performance. But do write it in a nice way and do not attack your friends. This is meant for each and everyone of you to read, learn and improve. You should also comment on those who did well. They need the praises too.. Hope to see such comments on the various posts...And do show the blog to your parents and encourage them to comment as well.

Hurrah, I take my hat off for all the fantastic performers of P3 Kindness. They must have practiced hard under the your guidance. For those who were stage shy, do try harder next time to share your hidden talent. For those who recited and acted out espeacially the guy who did a side sumersault, Well Done.

Best Regards
